LMCH
Lake Merwin Camper’s Hideaway is a Private, membership owned, domestic non profit corporation that was developed in the early 1970’s. LMCH as a corporation owns the land. Each member is sold a membership associated with an individual site. If the corporation were to dissolve each member would receive 1/1500th of the proceeds. Once you own the membership it is fully transferable and willable. Restrictions on use of LMCH include an overnight stay limit of 234 nights per year with no more than 30 consecutive stays without a minimum 72 hour break. Day use of LMCH and its facilities are not restricted. LMCH leases the waterfront access from Pacific Power and Light Corporation. The lease is negotiated annually and fulfills part of the mandate of PP&L to provide recreational access to the reservoir.
 
SECURITY
LMCH is gated to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and to provide site security. In the summer the gate is staffed with contracted security guards. Members must be present to provide access to their guests who must register at the gate. LMCH also has staffed security which patrols the camp after business hours. The manager and assistant manager live on site and may be called upon as well. They are supplemented by a large volunteer committee comprised of members.   
 
SITES
Sites can be anything from a bare undeveloped lot to a lot that has built to the maximum development standards as set by Clark County. This can include an RV cover, sunroom, deck, Boat cover and shed. RV’s may be included with the purchase of a site. The maximum RV size is 400 interior square feet. Most developed sites have a 30 Amp Power box, frost free water hookup, black water holding tanks (septic that must be pumped out regularly), and a grey water tank.  Members are responsible for Clark County property taxes on any site improvements.  Other camp amenities include an indoor pool, miniature golf course, workout facility, sauna, Jacuzzi, courtesy rental sites for your guest, chapel, restaurant, rental boat moorage, and waterfront beach and swim area. COST OF OWNERSHIP
Dues are paid yearly and are divided into membership dues, site power, common power and any voted upon assessments. (The assessments are usually for capitol replacement and repair). The dues for 2017 totaled 1247.50, Broken down to,  Dues:778.00, Site power: 278.00, Common Power: 41.00  Capital reserve:150.00. This is just an example and estimate of cost and may change from year to year based on camp needs as voted upon by the membership. Dues can be paid on a payment plan which is run by the financial manager.
